I was searching for something about Google on Google and saw this link and the first thought that struck my mind was, Is Apple going Microsoft way??? It is typical of Microsoft where they release any product without fully testing it in all possible situations and then start releasing service packs. Recent example of this is the bug in Internet Explorer (to know more about this bug you can read this click here).
Coming back to Apple, have they released iOS 6 in hurry? Is it really buggy? Or they attempted too much in this upgrade? I have upgraded my iPhone with iOS 6 and was writing about that in my other post. I left that post half way when I saw this news. Surely Apple map misguides you more than helping you when you’re lost. So I also feel that Apple maps need a service pack.
Only refreshing part of this entire episode is that, Apple CEO Mr. Cook has come out with an apology to its customers. This is also change in the Apple mindset. This is most probably the first apology in Apple history that comes as soon as the glitch has been detected.
